Monday in Montana
Wow, it has been a looong time since I wrote anything here. I am back in school online, and really having a struggle to keep up. One of the toughest classes was supposed to be my easy A. Right It's a basic Computer Concepts class and it has more freekin homework than both my other classes. Busy work stuff that really doesn't teach anything.
We got our first real snow of the season yesterday and today, at least a good 4 inches maybe more. The power blinked off for a flash right as I was going to bed last night. Which reminded me I need to get my battery back up power supply hooked up still. I'm such a horrid procrastinator.
I have been given the honor of being a moderator and Malware Removal Specialist at Emsisoft A Squared forums. It's a bit scary, I have not been in the 'loop' for nearly a year now. The Malwarebytes betrayal and defamation of character still haunts me. Malware is not static and, just a glance at the forums and names of infections was like looking at a foreign language. At the same time I felt exhilarated and had that old tingle. That probably sounds really weird, and meaningless to anyone who has never been in the malware scene. It's a good feeling.

Re: Monday in Montana
Huge flakes coming down! I have to learn so much stuff about malware, it's all new from when I was actively working forums. Thanks for the gratz. It really is an honor to be trusted by a company of that stature.

Re: Monday in Montana
Jean, does this mean then that you no longer recommend MBAM as a malware scanner? I'm prolly just reading it wrong, cuz it seems that it's just been a matter of months since I installed it as per your recommendation.
Thanx,

oops, have to do it this way cuz I don't have the option to edit my last one......... I just noticed that your time is 1 hour off, didn't pay attention on my 1st post about new look at site.

Re: Monday in Montana
No it doesn't mean I don't recommend MBAM. I would not recommend you enter into any sort of business agreement without a very good contract and lawyer. You can set your time in your user control panel. Un-check DST. You should be able to edit posts also, grits there is a small edit button on the upper right corner of the text box. Your in Helena right?
Re: Monday in Montana
Sorry, my bad, didn't even think about DST in CP , Thanx.
Nope, not Helena.
