I got sad news today a very special person has passed on. Alan Waddell was one of a kind. I can't honestly remember how our paths crossed in cyber space. His wife was still alive then and she did a lot of the web site work and we corresponded a few times. Alan continued with his famous journeys through Sydney Australia after her passing. He did it up until he had to have a hip replacement. Of all things, for a guy that had walked 1000's of miles and photo journaled them in a marvelous way.
Take a look at his stuff, the world is less one of the best.

Re: Monday in Montana
This just came in email.
Could we please let you know that a tribute to Alan that appeared in the Sydney Daily Telegraph on the day of his funeral can be seen at
http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/s ... 21,00.html
Also, for Sydney and New South Wales residents, there is a life history of Alan in the Sydney Morning Herald today (Friday).
