Just letting everyone know why I haven't posted in here a while. For the casual user such as myself, Ubuntu has come all the way. If you're afraid of the command line, I don't believe I've opened it in over a year. There is a Add/Remove Programs so whatever I want I get with a few clicks. Hooking up to the Internet never got easier. Take your USB aircard, plug it in and a wizard hooks you up. I've been recording music, opening any document, file, or video that comes my way. So, all praises, no complaints from this Ubuntu user :-)

I have a modem and pay the phone company lol that's a new one on me. Like pay as you go phones?

Not really. But it is a phone and it comes with a data plan. Mine I just plug into my router, it connects to the nearest cell tower and all my pc's share the connection. I could take it and plug it into a laptop anywhere and it would connect for me. Very convenient really. And 4G is coming. That will be awesome!
